Why we value your privacy
We value your privacy as much as we do our own, so we’re committed to keeping your personal and business information safe. We’re uncomfortable with the information that many companies, governments, and other organizations keep on file, so we try to collect only the bare minimum from our readers. We’ll never use your personal information for any reason other than why you gave it, and we’ll never give anyone access to it unless we’re forced to by law.
How we collect information
We ask for contact information including your name and email address on our website so that we can reply to your enquiry.
Our website doesn’t use cookies or scripts that were designed to track the websites you visit. We do use analytics and native social media ‘like’ or ‘sharing’ buttons, which may build profiles of your internet activity, but this is not what we use them for.
Our website may contain links to other websites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those other sites. When you go to other websites from here, it’s a good idea to be aware of and read their privacy policy.
Many of the links we include in our articles are affiliate links. This means that when you click them and are directed to a third party merchant (such as Amazon or Rogue Fitness), we may earn a commission on any products you subsequently purchase. We have affiliate relationships with the following merchants:
- Amazon
- Rogue Fitness
- Rep Fitness
- Titan Fitness
- Fringe Sport
- ProSource Fit
- TRX Training
- Bowflex
These merchants may use cookies and web beacons in relation to affiliate links you click on our website. Again, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of their sites. When you go to other websites from here, it’s a good idea to be aware of and read their privacy policy.
Our website uses Google Analytics, a service that transmits basic data about visitors to our website to Google’s home base in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify you or associate your IP address with any other data held by us or Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand the very basics of how people use The Home Fit Freak.
By using this website, you are agreeing to let Google use your data in the way that they explain in their Privacy Policy and for the purposes we explained above. You can opt out of Google Analytics if you disable or refuse the cookie, disable JavaScript, or use the opt-out service provided by Google.

Where we store your information

What we use your information for
At the time of last update, we only use your information to respond to enquiries you send us.
Who’s responsible for your information at The Home Fit Freak
Eamonn Leaver, our founder and webmaster is responsible for the security of your information. You can contact him through our Contact Us page if you have any concerns about the information we store.
Who has access to information about you
When we store information in our own systems, only the people who need it have access.
The steps we take to keep your information private
Where we store your information in third-party services (i.e., our webmail inbox), we restrict access only to people who need it. We don’t collect passwords, or any other personal information other than what you choose to provide us in your enquiry.
The computers we use are all encrypted and are protected by a passcode or fingerprint access. These computers ask for authentication whenever they’re woken from sleep. Our mobile devices are also protected by a fingerprint or facial recognition.
How to complain
We take complaints very seriously. If you’ve any reason to complain about the ways we handle your privacy, please contact us through the form on the Contact Us page. If you’re the letter writing type, that’s too bad because we do not currently have a brick and mortar operations for you to address mail to.
Changes to the policy
If we change the contents of this policy, those changes will become effective the moment we publish them on our website.
In the following section, the term “the Website” and “Website” (where the word website is capitalized) refer to The Home Fit Freak.
